… Read MoreEveryone's favorite extinct creatures have descended upon Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. The aquarium's newest exhibit, "DINOSAURS!", opened March 28, with a special event that featured Araina Richards, who played Lex Murphy in Stephen Spielberg's 1993 blockbuster film Jurassic Park.
"DINOSAURS!" blends entertainment and education into the ultimate adventure and includes fully animatronic dinosaurs and a volcano along with interactive and hands-on activities. Guests can experience what it is like to be a paleontologist, enjoy scavenger hunts and take advantage of IPad stations with facts, puzzles and games.

The Mountain Man Memorial March is one of the largest Gold Star Family Recognitions in the southeast. A Gold Star Family is one who has lost a family member in the line of duty. This year’s event will be on April 19th and 20th in Gatlinburg.
