The Smoky Mountains is backdrop to thousands of weddings each year. It’s no surprise with the endless options the area has to offer. Whether you are looking for a large fairy-tale wedding, a quaint chapel, or an outdoor wedding in the mountains by a breathtaking stream, the Smokies has something to fit your needs. There are endless ways to plan your dream wedding in the Smokies while making it the most memorable day of your life. Many services are available to you and your party including limo services, florists, photographers, caterers, dress shops and tuxedo rentals. You can choose from complete wedding and honeymoon packages or custom build your own to suit your taste and budget.

The state of Tennessee has no waiting period and requires no blood test. You must simply obtain a marriage license and be at least 18 years of age. As an added convenience couples have the ability to pick-up their marriage license on Saturdays. 

Smoky Mountain Marriage License Locations:

• Gatlinburg Shilling Center - Regan Drive, Monday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 865.430.3404

• Sevierville Courthouse - Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturdays. Call 865.453.5502
